Who: Trained Soulful Singers in all voice types.

When: Saturday, October 26, 2013 / 9:00 am – 2:00 pm

Where: Chicago Temple. 77 W. Washington, 3^rd Floor Music Room, Chicago, IL

DESCRIPTION

HoperaWorld Entertainment is seeking exceptional singers with a passion for singing and music making for its’ upcoming season. Local Chicago performances & other touring opportunities may be available. Experience singing diverse genres of music is a plus. Singers should be comfortable performing on stage, with basic movement & comfortable taking stage direction. Experience with Improvisation is a major plus. Strong classical singing background is a major plus. ALL are welcome to apply. Solo Artist, Chorus, & supporting roles available.

Audition Requirement: Prepare 1 short song or Aria from the classical, spiritual repertoire & 1 popular music cover song (i.e. R&B, Hip Hop, Pop, Gospel, Rock, Jazz, etc.) Musical Theater Songs are acceptable. Be prepared to vocalize.
